French very large black marble 30 day time and strike tambour mantel clock, c1890
CONDITION:
this huge glossy case has a number of small flakes and chips, but overall the appearance is very nice. The white porcelain dial has a chip at one winding hole and around the rate adjusting arbor, and the numbers have been inked darker. The beveled glass has a couple of deep scratches. The long-duration movement is unsigned. Extremely heavy and fragile for shipping. Ht 21"
